Operating as a central node within the company’s supply chain, the site underpins LeisureGrow’s multi-channel distribution model, which includes independent garden centres, national retailers, and direct-to-consumer online sales platforms.
The site also supports seasonal demand fluctuations, particularly during peak garden and outdoor living periods in spring and summer. Distribution Hub
The distribution centre manages inbound freight from both domestic and international suppliers, coordinating container deliveries, palletised shipments, and bulk stock transfers.
Goods are received, quality-checked, and allocated within a structured warehouse management system to ensure traceability and accurate inventory control. From there, orders are picked, packed, and dispatched to retail partners or end customers using scheduled carrier networks.
In addition to outbound fulfilment, the facility handles reverse logistics. Returned items are processed through inspection, grading, and restocking workflows, ensuring that resaleable products are efficiently reintegrated into available inventory while damaged goods are managed in accordance with company policy.
